YEREVAN. – The official ceremony of awarding medals, honorary titles, and military ranks and degrees—and devoted to the 28th Independence Day anniversary—took place Friday at the official residence of the President of Armenia.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and National Assembly Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan also were on hand at this event.

President Armen Sarkissian presented these awards and titles.

In addition, the PM presented a one-million-dram reward, apiece, to large families.
