Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Tuesday declared that Turkey intends to create buffer zone east from the Euphrates River in Syria on its own, reports TASS.
“Unfortunately, Turkey failed to achieve the desired outcome, especially in the area that lies east from the Euphrates River. We can’t miss another day. We have no other choice than to take our own path,” he said.
As reported earlier, Ankara is planning on creating a buffer zone in Syria along with Washington.
