The lawyer of Armenian SRC ex-head Gagik Khachatryan, accused of abuse of power and embezzlement, challenged Judge Artush Gabrielyan, who is considering a preventive measure against Khachatryan.
As the lawyer Yerem Sargsyan told reporters, the reason for the challenge was the fact that all petitions regarding his client are under consideration by one judge. The judge dismissed the appeal. The defense side also requested the release of Gagik Khachatryan on bail in the amount of AMD 230 million.
