Sergey Karapetyan has been appointed the prosecutor of the Russia’s Smolensk region by the order of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The document entered into force on November 4, smolensk-i.ru reported.

He is appointed for a term of five years.

Sergey Karapetyan is a native of the Rostov region.
