The resident population of Armenia has officially declined by 11,700 over the past year, Zhoghovurd daily reported referring to the information from the State Statistics Committee. 

“As of October 1 of this year, the resident population of Armenia amounted to 2 million 957 thousand 500 people, at the same time in 2018, this figure was at the level of 2 million 969 thousand 200,” the source noted.
