Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan, who is in the People’s Republic of China on a working visit, met with Vice-President of Huawei Gao Xiaobin yesterday.

Tigran Avinyan presented the potential and peculiarities of the scientific-technological eco-system in Armenia, as well as the opportunities for making investments in the IT sector.

The Vice-President of Huawei touched upon the main directions for Huawei’s development, including the production of equipment and research.

The parties discussed the prospects for economic advancement and the development of high technologies and solar energy in Armenia and agreed to explore future opportunities for cooperation, including cooperation in research and development.
