The trade turnover between Armenia and Ukraine has made up USD 92,059,000 during the eight months of 2019 and has dropped by 10% compared to the same period in the previous year. This is what Charge d’Affaires of Ukraine in the Republic of Armenia Denis Avtonomov told AnalitikaUA.net.

According to the diplomat, this is explained by the leaping growth of trade indicators when Turboatom Open-Stock Company (Kharkow) supplied equipment to the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant in Metsamor.

“At the same time, this year we have recorded almost double growth of meat supplies from Ukraine, there are more supplies of Ukrainian drugs, and, traditionally, Armenia’s manufacturers continue to trust Ukrainian milk powder. As far as Armenia’s exports to Ukraine are concerned, Armenia mainly exports brandy,” Avtomonov noted.
