There is an indirect relationship between the protests of the youth union of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun political party’s Armenia Chapter and the summoning of Artsvik Minasyan to the Investigative Committee of Armenia. This is what analyst Aghasi Yenokyan told journalists today, responding to a question from Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“Artsvik Minasyan was summoned to speak about an old case that he isn’t directly linked to, and it’s not about a lot of money. However, for some reason, the Investigative Committee decided to summon him yesterday when the political party was holding a protest. I don’t think such coincidences are frequent in Armenia,” he said.

It has already been two days since members of the youth union of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun political party’s Armenia Chapter have been holding protests demanding the resignation of Armenia’s Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Arayik Harutyunyan.

Yesterday former Minister of Nature Protection and Economy of Armenia, former deputy of the National Assembly and member of the Supreme Body of the Dashnaktsutyun Artsvik Minasyan was interviewed as a witness within the scope of the criminal case in relation to the detected misuses of Zvartnots Aerial-Meteorological Center CJSC and being investigated by the Division for Investigation of Crimes Committed in the Premises of Zvartnots International Airport of the Investigation Department of Yerevan.
