President of the United States Donald Trump called on the whistleblower, whose actions led to the impeachment of the head of state, to reveal his identity, BBC reported.

On Thursday, infromant's lawyer told the White House that his client could be in danger due to Trump's rhetoric.

Nevertheless, the US president continued to demand the disclosure of the name of the informant. The name of the whistle-blower is still kept secret by the Democrats.

In August, a certain informant presented a report that led to the impeachment of US President Donald Trump.

The report, in particular, stated that the President of the United States put pressure on the head of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, to start an investigation against US presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter, who is working in Ukraine.
