YEREVAN. – A Finnish man was injured in a fire that broke out on the roof of a building next to the Armenian parliament on Saturday.

The man lived next to the parliament’s building in Yerevan, and his house caught fire as well.

He is in an intensive care unit, his condition is described as critical, deputy director of the hospital Karine Babayan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The man has burns to about 15% of his body, and 5% of respiratory tract was affected.

The fire was extinguished at around 5:20 p.m., Saturday.

Firefighters, rescuers and a psychologist were working to put out the fire.
