President of Bolivia Evo Morales announced on November 10 that he is resigning.

According to reports released by the country's supreme electoral court, Morales won the October 20 presidential election.

Protests have begun in Bolivia after the election results were announced, TASS reports.

On October 20, presidential and parliamentary elections were held in Bolivia. Nine candidates were running for the top post, but the main battle was between Bolivia's current leader Evo Morales and Carlos Mesa, who once held the post of Bolivian president.
