Bolivian Senate's second vice-speaker, opposition representative Jeanine Áñez, has said that after the resignation of the former top leadership, the supreme power is passing to her. Áñez told this Pagina 7 newspaper.

Earlier resignations were declared by President Evo Morales, Vice President Álvaro García Linera, Senate Speaker Adriana Salvatierra, and Senate First Vice Speaker as well as Chamber of Deputies’ Speaker Víctor Borda.
