Deputy of the My Step faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Vahagn Tevosyan has decided to leave the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the Parliaments of Armenia and Belarus, as well as the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

He will also leave the parliamentary friendship groups with the specified countries.

Vahagn Tevosyan gave the following clarification on his Facebook page: “My decision is only due to the time and effort spent on the laws on television and radio and cinema, and my time spent as member of the inter-parliamentary committees will make me less productive. To avoid this and do my main job, I have asked the parliamentary faction to exclude me from the inter-parliamentary committees and friendship groups.”
