Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan today participated in the event jointly organized by the Government of Armenia and the EU Delegation during which the two parties presented to Armenia’s development partners the course of implementation of the roadmap for the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and the tools for EU support.
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and Head of the EU Delegation, Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin delivered their welcoming remarks and attached importance to the organizing of events in this format. The Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the EU for its support and presented the activities that the inter-agency commission is carrying out under his leadership and the course of implementation of the CEPA, and the EU Ambassador emphasized that implementation of the CEPA will assist in Armenia’s modernization and implementation of the reforms agenda.
During the meeting, Sedrak Barseghyan, Head of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, briefly presented the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement and its main goals and touched upon the reforms being implemented in certain directions and the importance of the support of other partners in this process.
Head of the Cooperation Section of the EU Delegation Gonzalo Serrano De La Rosa talked about the tools for EU support and presented their features.
After the speeches, the speakers answered questions from the attendees.
