Former head of the Shengavit Administrative District of Yerevan Armen Sargsyan has been charged with embezzlement, as reported the news department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia. A+rmen Sargsyan has compensated the damage caused to the State, and a signature to not leave the country has been selected as a preventive measure.

According to the factual data obtained by police officers, former head of the Shengavit Administrative District of Yerevan Armen Sargsyan, misusing office, through various employees of the district council, collected a total of $9,900 from various businessmen of the administrative district and Russia-based citizens on the excuse that he was providing financial assistance to the participants of the Four-Day Artsakh War of April 2016.
