We are enhancing and implementing the idea of a balanced approach to the mutual cooperation between business and the State so that we don’t increase the burden of business and so that we don’t undermine the effectiveness of public administration. This is what Minister for Internal Markets, Information Support and Information and Communication Technologies of the Eurasian Economic Commission Karine Minasyan said during the Anti-Falsification 2019 international conference in Yerevan today.

She stated that there is often a clash of interest when businesses want to move easily and without obstacles with certain states of the Eurasian Economic Union that aspire to import safe products. “The biggest problem for businesses in the Eurasian Economic Union is uncertainty, and this goes to show that there is a need for harmonization of the legislation of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union,” Karine Minasyan said.

She emphasized the importance of labeling and overseeing products in the context of the fight against falsification.
