The first open impeachment hearings start on Tuesday with former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Bill Taylor and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State George Kent to testify in the House.

Ex-ambassador to Ukraine and Armenia Marie Yovanovitch will be called to testify publicly in the House on Friday.

Head of the House Intelligence Committee, Representative Adam B. Schiff said Jennifer Williams, Alexander Vindman, Kurt Volker, Tim Morrison, Gordon Sondland, Laura Cooper and David Hale will appear in the House next week.

The Democrats launched impeachment inquiry over Donald Trump’s efforts to pressure Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate the activities of his opponent, ex-Vice President Joe Bidem.
