At the November 13 sitting of the National Assembly of Armenia, the deputies passed a number of amendments to the existing laws in the second and final reading, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reported from parliament.

But the ruling coalition My Step alliance failed to pass the package of bills on addenda to the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly and related laws, which provided for the head of parliament with the power to attend the Security Council sessions. Lawmakers from the opposition Bright Armenia faction voted against this law package, and their colleagues from the opposition Prosperous Armenia faction abstained.
