The removal of Hrayr Tovmasyan has been neither the key objective nor one of our objectives. This is what Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan told journalists at the National Assembly today, touching upon the fact that Arsen Babayan has claimed that his detention was exclusively conditioned by the pressure on Hrayr Tovmasyan and that the key objective is to remove President of the Constitutional Court Hrayr Tovmasyan from office.

“We have met and continue to meet our several dozens of objectives. I don’t know who or what inspired Arsen Babayan to say this, but I still view Hrayr Tovmasyan and the atmosphere in the Constitutional Court as a crisis,” Mirzoyan said.
