Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan today chaired a session of the Military-Industrial Commission, reports the news service of the Government of Armenia.

Prior to consideration of the issues on the agenda, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan touched upon the structural changes in the military-industrial complex and stated the following: “You are aware that significant changes have been made in the military-industrial complex, that is, the subordination of the Military-Industrial Committee has been changed and has been transferred from the Ministry of Defense to the Ministry of High Technological Industry. Taking the opportunity, I would like to express gratitude to the Ministry of Defense for the work it has done and the contributions it has made in and to this sector until now. I would like to wish the Ministry of High Technological Industry and the head of the Military-Industrial Committee success and express hope that this structural change will help Armenia make significant changes in this sector.”

Minister of High Technological Ministry Hakob Arshakyan delivered a speech during the session. The participants discussed issues related to the development of the military-industrial complex and the establishment of active ties in the fields of science, technologies and military industry and approved the list of the state orders for Special Research, Expertise and Consulting for the year 2020.
