YEREVAN. - Past newspaper writes: For months there has been talk of raising the price of natural gas imported to Armenia from Russia. Yesterday, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan said that the price of gas will remain the same until April 1.

However, according to a source of Past newspaper, there is a little nuance to this topic.

According to our information, the issue of revising the gas price is actually on the agenda, and it is not ruled out that it will take place at the end of the year, not in April.

According to the preliminary agreement, [PM] Nikol Pashinyan's visit to Moscow is planned in late December, where this topic will be clarified.

According to the same sources, the [Armenian] authorities will not voice about the price hike until spring, in order not to provoke social unrest again and not to again hit their falling standing ahead of time.

If the price of gas goes up at the end of the year, the difference in the winter months for consumers will be compensated at the expense of the state.
