YEREVAN. – The biggest phenomenon I see in Armenia today is fear. ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party member Hrant Margaryan, who was attending the Vernatun Club conference today, told this to reporters.

“Not so much the fear of physical persecution, but the fear of being embarrassed, the fear of becoming a subject of people's conversation, the fear of being told is corrupt, a plunderer; they will curse at you and remain under pseudonyms,” Margaryan said. “This fear is more constraining us today than if they were in Stalin's regime; they would catch, sent to Siberia. The most dignified in this respect are the most cowardly. But my call is: not to be afraid."
