Our opposition is telling us that we are violating fiscal rules. If we translate this, it means the opposition is telling us that we shouldn’t raise salaries and pensions. If this is the case, just be straightforward. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated in his speech during the discussion on the draft of the 2020 State Budget of Armenia at the National Assembly today, making it clear that he was referring to the Bright Armenia faction.

Pashinyan stated that when the former government would tell people that their lives were going to change, it meant that the government would give them some food as mercy, but the current government is changing people’s lives by creating opportunities for people to work and earn a living.
