YEREVAN. – Armenia has recorded a 30% increase in a number of particularly serious crime, statistical committee said in a statement.
Overall, 18,865 crimes were recorded in Armenia from January to September, as compared to 17,673 last year.
There were 36 murders and 24 murder attempts during nine month, a 30% increase as compared with the same period last year.
However, a number of corruption crimes has declined by 20%.
