People have already begun to exploit the well-known tragic incident that took place hours ago in Kotayk Province, accusing me of the death children, as two of them, a 15- and 14-year-old sister and brother, were boarding school students. They (like all weekends until now) lived with their grandma. Zaruhi Batoyan, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, noted this on her Facebook page.

“If anyone, including the ministry and myself, is to blame for this tragic accident, law enforcement should act unbendingly,” she added, in particular. “And I leave to you with a moral description of those who exploit such a case with children.”

As reported earlier, a woman and her four grandchildren died in a tragic incident in Armenia’s Kotayk province.

They were found by police in an apartment in the town of Nor Hachn on Saturday afternoon.

According to preliminary reports, Zhanna Simonyan, 77, and her grandchildren – Eduard, 16, Serine, 12, Tigran, 15, and Zhanna, 14, – died of carbon monoxide poisoning. Two bodies were found in the bathroom and three in the bedroom.

Parents of the children are divorced and live in Ukraine. Grandmother and uncle were taking care of children in Armenia.
