As part of his visit to Yeghvard community of Kotayk Province, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today familiarized himself with the reconstruction works at the bridge of the motorway from Yeghvard to Ashtarak.

Pashinyan was accompanied by Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Suren Papikyan, and Governor of Kotayk Romanos Petrosyan.

Asked by the Prime Minister whether a plant was being built along the way, Governor Petrosyan said a cannery plant was being built.

For his part, Papikyan noted that this is a transit route.

During the tour Nikol Pashinyan was also approached by the construction workers who welcomed him.

“What’s the difference? A minister or a laborer? The culture of uniform must be introduced” the Prime Minister said. “Why should a worker be in torn clothes? We have to pay attention to it.”

The aforesaid construction program is scheduled to be completed next year.
