A meeting was held in Jermuk town, between its residents, representatives of the Armenian government and MPs on the issue of Amulsar gold mine. Jermuk resident Armen Khachatryan told about this to Armenian News-NEWS.am nothing that nothing new was discussed at the meeting.

"We yet again reaffirmed our position that nothing has changed, our position is the same: you just find solutions as soon as possible, deprive Lydian of the license so that we can get out of those posts," he said.

According to him, the deputies didn't say or hint anything about opening the roads leading to Amulsar.

Khachatryan noted that the only new thing at the meeting was that Minister of Environment Erik Grigoryan had said that monitoring equipment would be brought in the near future to carry out measurements.

Environmentalist Apres Zohrabyan also commented on the meeting on his Facebook page, saying that the meeting was closed and journalists were not allowed to broadcast live.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Environment Erik Grigoryan and several MPs.
