YEREVAN. – The Armenian Consulate in Rostov is already in contact with Russian law enforcement agencies, and the problem will be resolved very quickly and, if not tomorrow, then the next morning Arman Margaryan will be in Armenia. Narek Mkrtchyan, a member of the Armenian National Assembly majority My Step faction, wrote about it on his Facebook page.

"The terrible tragedy in New Hachn and the arrest of the father of the children have been made by some ‘people and the media’ into the subject of speculation since the morning," he wrote. “To get information about the arrest of the father of children, I and Kotayk Province governor Romanos Petrosyan a while ago contacted Armenia's Consul General in Rostov Vardan Asoyan, who confirmed that the father of the children, Margaryan Arman, had been arrested for violating Russian migration law. Our consulate is already in contact with Russian law enforcement, and the problem will be resolved very quickly and, if not tomorrow, then the next morning Margaryan Arman will be in Armenia."

As reported earlier, a woman and her four grandchildren died in a tragic incident in Armenia’s Kotayk province.

They were found by police in an apartment in the town of Nor Hachn on Saturday afternoon.

According to preliminary reports, Zhanna Simonyan, 77, and her grandchildren – Eduard, 16, Serine, 12, Tigran, 15, and Zhanna, 14, – died of carbon monoxide poisoning. Two bodies were found in the bathroom and three in the bedroom.
