Documents signed with Iran and Georgia can be a good opportunity for developing cooperation at the regional level, said Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan on Monday at the international conference on digital solutions for cross-border cooperation and trade facilitation.

According to him, the programs related to customs reforms are in the focus of attention of the Armenian Government, including reforms related to the digitization of trade and databases, as this direction can have a significant impact in terms of improving the effectiveness of risk management in the cross-border trade system.

The Vice PM highlighted the importance of involving regional countries, international organizations and the private sector in cooperation. He also noted the importance of the introduction of the Single Window system by the Armenian State Revenue Committee, as well as further plans for the introduction of a paperless cross-border trade system, including through the use of artificial intelligence capabilities.
