YEREVAN. – It shows that this institute has caused problems, and the Prime Minister probably made a decision. Speaking to reporters in the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia today, Andranik Kocharyan, a member of the NA majority My Step faction and Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security, stated this referring to the fact that by the Prime Minister's decision today, Movses Hakobyan was dismissed from the post of Chief Military Inspector. Two of his deputies were also sacked.

Andranik Kocharyan does not link the move to calling Movses Hakobyan to the NA inquiry committee.

To the journalist's remark that after his dismissal, they can no longer call him to the NA Inquiry Committee for Examining the Circumstances of the Military Activities of April 2016, Kocharyan noted that they do not force anyone to come, and whoever they call comes with pleasure.

"Follow the official information," he added.

At the reporter's observation that Movses Hakobyan was associated with the former government, Andranik Kocharyan noted that the military has rendered its services during the tenure of all authorities.
