Thailand's Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn was hospitalized Monday evening to Chulalongkorn Hospital for the treatment of coronary heart disease, TASS reported referring to the Bangkok Post.

According to the Royal Palace, the princess suffered from chest pain and an irregular heartbeat before doctors advised her to go to the hospital. Coronary angiography showed narrowed sections in the blood vessel of the heart, but angioplasty was not required. Doctors recommended her to stay in the hospital for treatment.

In mid-October, Sirindhorn was hospitalized to treat an infection and inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract.
