A trial on the case of the second Armenian President Robert Kocharyan and others continues in Yerevan on Tuesday.

The ex-president’s lawyers submitted a motion to challenge the prosecutor Petros Petrosyan.

“We believe that the prosecuting party specifically conceals materials that could damage the prosecution,” Hovhannes Khudoyan noted, adding that the investigator rejected the request for all materials. Despite these violations, the prosecutor assured the indictment. The lawyer Hayk Alumyan added that on May 18 of the current year, the court, chaired by Judge David Grigoryan, decided to be released.

Today, the court will continue to consider the challenge of the prosecutor.
