Today, we want to start combating criminal subculture since there is truly a need for that. This is what deputy of the My Step faction of the National Assembly Nazeli Baghdasaryan declared during the discussion on the package of bills on criminalizing the criminal subculture today.
According to her, to this day, there have not been relevant norms and points in the legislation that would allow to bring the elements of criminal subculture to justice. “I was born and raised in a city where criminal authorities would commit crimes, murders and other types of crimes. Today there is zero tolerance of such phenomena. The criminal subculture must be criminally punishable,” Baghdasaryan stated.
She also stated that some of her colleagues are trying to patronize the criminal subculture so that they disrupt the fight against it. “However, I must say that they won’t succeed. There is no turning back,” the deputy concluded.
