President of the Republican Party of Armenia, third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan today paid a working visit to the Croatian city of Zagreb where he will take part in the Congress of the European People’s Party to be held on November 19 to 21, reports the Office of the third President of Armenia.
The Congress of the European People’s Party will gather nearly 2,000 participants from 40 countries, as well as representatives of the EU leadership, the political leaders of non-EU member states and the heads of European political parties.
The participants will elect a new president and chairmanship of the European People’s Party.
Serzh Sargsyan will speak at the congress, and on the same day (November 20), he will attend the summit of the European People’s Party in the evening.
During the visit, the president of the Republican Party of Armenia is scheduled to have several working meetings with the delegations of sister political parties.
