YEREVAN. – As of January 1, 2020, the commission has set a total of 180 drams; that is, there is no need to subsidize from the budget, and the same tariff for consumers will continue to apply. Garegin Baghramyan, Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia, said this at a briefing with journalists today.

According to Baghramyan, the main issue regarding the timeframe for the overhaul of the Armenian power plant is also being discussed at the moment.

Answering a journalist's question whether there would be a change in the price of natural gas, Baghramyan responded: “You know that the price of gas will remain the same until April,. Deputy Prime Minister Grigoryan informed that as a result of the negotiations, an interim decision was made, whereas the main long-term tariff plan is still being discussed.”
