YEREVAN. – The fire at the building of a beer pub at an intersection in downtown Yerevan has not been extinguished yet.

Hakob Arshakyan, the Minister of High-Technological Industry of Armenia, is also at the scene. He told reporters he was at the building area when the fire had broken out, he had noticed the fire, and immediately called Minister of Emergency Situations Feliks Tsolakyan, and the firefighters had arrived at the scene within several minutes.

As reported earlier, today at 1:46pm, the 911 emergency hotline received a call that that a fire broke out on the roof of a two-story building at an intersection of downtown Yerevan.

Eight fire and rescue squads, a ladder fire truck, operational and emergency response teams, and a psychiatric instructor, have been dispatched to the scene.
