YEREVAN. – The fire that broke out in downtown Yerevan today has been extinguished.

Today at 1:59pm, the 911 emergency hotline received a call that that a fire broke out at a two-story building at an intersection of downtown Yerevan.

Several fire and rescue squads, a ladder fire truck, operational and emergency response teams, and a psychiatric instructor, have been dispatched to the scene.

The complexity degree of the fire has been increased.

It turned out that the fire had broken out on the roof of a restaurant. Its wooden roof constructions were burning.

Minister of Emergency Situations Feliks Tsolakyan is also at the scene.

The fire was put out at 5pm.
