YEREVAN. - Criminal Court of Appeal of Armenia has accepted for consideration second President Robert Kocharyan’s attorney’s appeal against the November 7 ruling on not releasing him on bail.
The respective hearing is slated for November 26. The trial of Kocharyan and others will also take place the same day.
Kocharyan's legal defendants had filed a motion for bail at the court hearing on November 5, and based on the fact that on October 15, the Constitutional Court had ruled in favor of applicability of bail for Kocharyan.
Robert Kocharyan is accused of overthrowing Armenia’s constitutional order and taking large amount of bribes.
