On November 22, the Public Council of Armenia working group on the Amulsar gold mine issued held a meeting with experts in the field.

At the previous meeting of this working group, it was decided to send letters to several state agencies in order to get statistics and information on the aforesaid matter.

During this meeting, the data and information provided by the state bodies were discussed, and the experts were instructed to further study the information obtained and to present their views at the next session.

The next meeting of the working group will take place within the next ten days.

By December 10, the working group will present the results of its studies to the Public Council, after which the council will present a position on whether the Amulsar gold mine should be operated.
