Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) Ashot Ghulyan today convened a working consultation with the chairs of the standing committees and parliamentary factions of the National Assembly and representatives of the staff, reports the Department of Media and Public Relations of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh.

During the consultation, Chairs of the Standing Committees on Defense, Security and Law Enforcement and on State and Legal Affairs Zhanna Galstyan and Hovik Jivanyan presented the results of the Committees’ discussions on the bill on making amendments to the law on state and official secrets and the bill on making amendments to the law on state governmental institutions, and the Committees gave a positive conclusion to include the bills in the agenda for the next session.

Talking about the draft agenda for the next session, the parliamentary speaker stated that it will be possible to schedule the election of the member of the Counting Chamber of the Republic of Artsakh and the annual activities of the State Regulatory Commission for Public Services and Competition of the Republic of Artsakh for the year 2020.

The parliamentarians also discussed the plan for holding the upcoming session of the Interparliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh and the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and the agenda for the session.
