The UN World Food Program (WFP), in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Armenia, organized an international conference on food investment opportunities and entrepreneurship development.

The conference is organized as part of the Italian Cuisine Week. Private sector representatives and international experts from Armenia, China, the EU, Italy and Russia will discuss the future of food production systems, the impact of food on public health and the needs of the national and international food market. The conference will also focus on how technology can improve food security in the future.

The event is attended by the representative of the UN World Food Program in Armenia Jelena Milosevic, Italian Ambassador to Armenia Vincenzo Del Monaco, Head of the European Union Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin, Minister of Economy of the Republic Tigran Khachatryan.
