Acting National Security Service chief Eduard Martirosyan received the Chief of Police of Georgia Teimuraz Kekelidze, who is on an official visit to Armenia, NSS press service reported.

The parties discussed issues related to ensuring the border regime, expanding bilateral cooperation and developing the situation in the region.

At the end of the meeting, Eduard Martirosyan awarded Teimuraz Kekelidze for cooperation at the border.

During the visit, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs delegation will visit the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial and pay tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
