The new IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said on Monday that he intends to visit Iran in the near future, RIA Novosti reported
The IAEA General Conference on Monday at a special session approved the appointment of Grossi to the post of new head of the agency. He will take the office on December 3.
The visit to Iran will happen, he said without elaborating.
According to him, he would not like to talk about the date, since he had not yet discussed his visit with the Iranian side.
