Based on the Prime Minister's proposal, President Armen Sarkissian has made new appointments to the Armenian Armed Forces.

By one decree, Aleksan Aleksanyan was appointed head of the department of moral and psychological support of the armed forces, relieving him of the post of head of the department for work with the personnel of the armed forces.

By another decree, Albert Baghdasaryan was appointed chief of the general staff management department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, relieving him of the post of chief of the organizational mobilization department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
