The attorneys of second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan asked the judge for a short break for a discussion.

During the trial, attorney Hayk Alumyan informed that he and his fellow attorneys had found out that Judge Anna Danibekyan was about to go on vacation and said if this was the case, they would like to ask for another trial before the vacation in order to file a motion for termination of criminal prosecution.

The judge confirmed the news about her vacation (December 10-30) and suggested that the attorneys find time during the day to prepare the motion. Hayk Alumyan stated that the attorneys were not ready to file the motion and asked for time to consult, and the judge announced a 15-minute break.

It should be mentioned that the prosecutors and victims, who always condemn the attorneys for postponing the trial, said they were against the proposal to hold another trial.
