The Prime Minister of Finland, the leader of the Social Democratic Party, Antti Rinne submitted the resignation letter to President Sauli Niinistö on Tuesday, and it was approved, TASS reported referring to Ilta-Sanomat.

According to Niinistö, he accepts the resignation and ask Rinne to continue to fulfill his duties until the appointment of a new government.
