The US has taken control over Syrian oil in order to beat the Islamic State, and now it can do whatever it wants with that oil. This is what US President Donald Trump said ahead of the NATO Summit in London following his meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, reports TASS.

“The Islamic State was trying to maintain control over oil, and now we have full control over it. To be honest, [in this regard] we are benefiting from the large support of various people. To a great extent, our soldiers in that territory are those who are protecting the oil. We have the oil, and we can do whatever we want with it,” Trump said.
