YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with his Artsakh counterpart Masis Mayilian.

They discussed expectations and priorities of Armenia and Artsakh ahead of the meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers that will be held in Bratislava under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group.

Armenian foreign minister underscored importance of meetings in such format noting that they provide an opportunity to exchange thoughts over the moves targeted at peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict.

They attached importance to the exchange program between the journalists of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Artsakh in the context implementation of the commitment to prepare peoples for peace.

Minister Mnatsakanyan reaffirmed the necessity of implementing an agreement to preserve ceasefire in order to prevent incidents at the line of contact.

The sides emphasized the need for the Artsakh authorities to be fully involved in the peace process, especially when it is related to the matter of substance.
