This bill is aimed at regulating the relations and operation of mobile trade outlets in Armenia and particularly in Yerevan. This is what author of the bill, deputy of the ruling My Step Alliance Sisak Gabrielyan said during a discussion on the package of bills on making amendments and supplements to the Law “On trade and services” and related laws at the National Assembly today.

“This particularly concerns the products that mobile trade outlets are entitled to sell, where they are entitled to sell them and what services can be provided at those trade outlets and at what hours. So, with this package of bills, we recommend transmitting all the powers to the Council of Elders of Yerevan which, thanks to the amendments to the law, will be able to determine the spots in Yerevan where mobile trade will be allowed,” Gabrielyan said.

The deputy sincerely admitted that this bill is, to a certain extent, targeted at restrictions on the operation of such trade outlets in Yerevan.
