YEREVAN. – This bill proposes to publish and discuss publicly on the E-draft.am platform the normative acts drafted by local self-government authorities. Deputy Speaker of Parliament Lena Nazaryan of the ruling My Step bloc of Armenia said this on December 4, during the National Assembly discussion of the bill—which she has authored—on making amendments to the law on local self-government.

According to her, this legislative initiative allows to expand the public activity of local self-government bodies.

"The bill also proposes to expand the types of information available on the official websites of local authorities," Nazaryan explained. "It is also envisaged that meetings of the community councils of the republic will be broadcast live on the official website of a specific community, if, of course, there are more than 3,000 residents living there."
